Artist bio:
Born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula of the Bay Area, Jeanette Marie began making jewelry when she purchased a bead kit from a drugstore to make beaded animals such as lizards, butterflies, bees, skunks, dragonflies, etc. Jeanette wanted to find an art hobby and found that she loved working with beads and soon began making jewelry. Jeanette began selling in Jack London square in January, 2004, and currently sells often at Oakland Artisans Marketplace. Jeanette is known for her friendly and enthusiastic greetings to her customers and her happy and helpful mom who accompanies her.
